I dedicated it to my long-time partner, the Moon, who was next to me as a child while, inside the car, I looked at her spellbound from the window and imagined that she was following me home. And she keeps me company even now, as an adult, when I look up and, looking at her, I tell myself that everything will be fine and that there’s nothing to fear.
And who better than my sweet niece could keep it, she who bears the name of the Moon. And the Shine.
I made this painting for my little Luna, and I gave it to her. I wish her that her light will always illuminate her path and that, like me, she will never stop looking up to admire her with confidence.
